Forward to young people! Laser rejuvenation gives the skin a second life

Using laser rejuvenation, you can get rid of facial wrinkles

Laser rejuvenation is no longer something rare and mythical. Nowadays, everyone can turn back their years. However, not all people have reliable information about laser rejuvenation methods, as a result of which they make a mistake when choosing the procedure.

First of all, you need to understand the types of procedures. There are two of them:

  • ablative;

  • non-ablative.

In turn, this type of impact is divided into:

  • solid (full);

  • fraction (incomplete).

These laser rejuvenation methods may seem similar at first glance, but they are far from it. Only the result is the same: after properly selected facial procedures, the skin looks several years younger and looks much better.

Non-ablative laser treatment works with the deeper layers of the skin, heating them. The impact of laser beam energy on fibroblasts causes them to produce collagen and elastin at an accelerated rate. Microcirculation in the layers of the skin is also improved.

This method is most effective when:

  • Scars and serious skin damage;

  • wide rash;

  • hyperpigmentation and uneven complexion;

  • post-acne;

  • stretch marks.

Non-ablative treatment is based on the operation of the erbium laser. Due to the special wavelength (1550 nm), the upper layers of the skin are not damaged, while the lower layers receive the necessary stimulation for recovery. As a result, most of the defects have been eliminated.

Ablative laser treatments work a little differently. This method uses a carbon dioxide laser with a wavelength of 10600 nm. The effect is carried out not only on the lower, but also on the upper layers of the skin. Using the ablation method, the skin texture becomes even and the lifting effect is achieved. Used for:

  • Wrinkles around the eyes, small facial wrinkles;

  • decrease in skin tone;

  • Pigmentation disorders.

It should be noted that the rehabilitation period after this procedure will be slightly longer, since a larger volume of skin is exposed than with the non-ablative method.

Despite the differences, the essence of the two methods is the same. Using the energy of the laser beam, the water in the dermis is heated and literally evaporates. At the same time, the synthesis of collagen and elastin necessary for rejuvenation begins.

Fractional and continuous laser exposure

While obtaining approximately the same results, these two methods have significant differences.

With continuous laser treatment, the laser affects the skin in one large area. However, due to the very high risk of scarring and the long recovery time, this type of laser treatment is now practically not used anywhere.

In other cases, the laser is split into many smaller beams that form a network. Thus, the laser, interacting with only 20% of the skin area, achieves a 100% rejuvenating effect. This method is more modern and safe, the rehabilitation time is significantly reduced by using it.

Laser photorejuvenation

This rejuvenation technique, like non-ablative, works with the deeper layers of the skin. But they are by no means the same or interchangeable.

The best laser beams almost completely "ignore" the dermis, but have an excellent effect on the nerve endings of the skin, which give the body a signal for cell renewal. Fine wrinkles disappear, skin tone is restored.

In laser photorejuvenation, devices such as KTP (wavelength 532 nm) and ND: Yag (wavelength 1064 nm) are used. Thanks to these parameters, laser radiation is perfectly absorbed by hemoglobin and melanin molecules, which are responsible for skin pigmentation. At the same time, water molecules practically do not heat up. For these reasons, laser photorejuvenation is a highly effective means of correcting skin color and combating vascular networks.

This technique does not require a long rehabilitation period and anesthesia.

finally

Each method of skin rejuvenation has its own unique properties, which greatly influence the final result. Careful selection of techniques is necessary so that rejuvenation is not only simple and effective, but also a safe process.

It is worth knowing that some cosmetologists do not disclose all the features of this procedure to the client and choose a device for laser treatment "what is available". To avoid this, you should contact experienced specialists who have positively proven themselves throughout the entire period of work.
